the challenge

In reworking the site and brand, TASC (Treatment Alternatives for Stronger Communities) wanted to prioritize clarity and finding a brand feel that felt true to character. During interview sessions, many highlighted the idea of second chances, intersectionality, and systemic change in the judicial system. These are the key pieces that run throughout the entire brand.

the solution

The rebrand used bright, overlapping colors and approachable design to strengthen brand visibility and represent the ideals of TASC.

The logo specifically played on the idea of intersectionality, featuring overlapping shapes and colors. The new typography is soft, modern, and complimented the shapes of the logo. From the logo, came the bright, main colors used throughout the site.

The site’s architecture was restructured to help potential partners and clients find services and make referrals. The result was a brighter, more unified experience across platforms.

Icons were created with matching overlapping elements to add delight and guide users to areas of interest in the site while adding a personal, on-brand touch. Along with icons, we added stylized collages of soft shapes and people to keep the vibrant feeling throughout the site.
